The vision was to deliver an ‘iconic’ bridge and 6km pathway to connect the two halves of Palmerston North City, Massey University, a cluster of research facilities, and the Linton Army Base. With part-funding also secured from Waka Kotahi, the Partnership engaged WSP to investigate the best location for major new river crossing, and deliver an iconic bridge and 6km pathway. WSP completed all community engagement, detailed design, environmental impact / AEE work, and MSQA. T+T were engaged as lead
